How do I view the artwork
virtually?
View the virtual auction here. To browse, simply swipe down to show more artwork until
you find the one you like. Click or tap on the artwork to see artwork details
and view the current bid price.
How do I view the artwork
in person?
To view the artwork in person, visit Oceanside Museum of
Art, 704 Pier View Way, Oceanside, CA 92054 during our public hours:

How long is the auction open for bidding?
Bidding opens to VIP event attendees on Saturday, June 25,
7:00pm.
Bidding opens to the public on Sunday, June 26, 11:00am.
Bidding closes on Monday, August 1, 5:00pm.
How to Bid or
Give
Registering to use Greater
Giving
- Click here for a quick video walking you
through the process.
- Click the GET STARTED button.
- Click the Create Account
button at the top of the page.
- Enter your email address.
- Check your email for the link to verify your account.
- Enter your name, password, contact information, and credit card
details.
- Click Create and then
click the large green gavel icon to start bidding.
How To Bid and Donate
You can bid at the event or even from home!
- Access the bidding page by clicking GET STARTED and then login or
click on the link in your Welcome Email or Text Message.
- Browse
the items by scrolling down, or search for items by name or number by
using the magnifying glass.
- Click on an item to view the details, place
bids, or make a purchase.
- You
can Bid the Next Increment orBid More than
the next increment. If you choose Bid More you can set your
max bid. If your max bid is the highest, the system will automatically bid in
your favor until you are outbid or until the auction closes.
- To
“watch” an item, select the star icon on the item.
- You'll
be notified if you're outbid at any point before the auction closes and you
will see an Outbid notice at the top of your screen.
- To
get back to the main screen, click the house icon.
- To
view the packages you are bidding on, click the menu button and select Bids.
- Click the Donate
button to make a donation.
What does it mean to “Buy Now”?
The Buy Now option is the highest bid that can be
placed on an item. If a bidder chooses that option, they cannot be out bid and
will be the winning bidder for that item upon the close of the auction.
Artwork must remain in the exhibition at OMA through the end
of the auction on August 1, even if it has been purchased at the Buy Now price.
How to
Collect Your Artwork
Winning bidders will
receive text and email notifications the evening of Monday, August 1, 2022 to
confirm that they have won.
Artwork can be picked up at OMA on Wednesday and Thursday,
August 3 and 4, from 12:00-2:00pm without an appointment. A limited number of
appointments on alternate dates can be scheduled. Successful bidders should
make every effort to remove their winning item(s) during the official artwork
pick-up times and dates mentioned above.
Winning bidders must
present their email or text message proof of purchase when they arrive.
If you require your
artwork to be shipped to you, contact Katie Dolgov,
katie@oma-online.org. Shipping fees will vary and are the responsibility
of the buyer.
Artwork must remain in the exhibition at OMA through the end
of the auction on August 1, even if it has been purchased at the Buy Now
price.
Checking Out
Your card will only
be charged for donations you make or auction items you win. Cards will be
charged for all purchases at the end of the auction.
How do I pay
for my items?
Payment must be made directly through our secure checkout
page on the Greater Giving platform. You must pre-register your credit card to
start bidding. Your card will not be charged unless and until you are the
successful bidder on an item.
How long do I have
to pay for my silent and live auction items?
Auction items must be paid in full at the close of the
auction on August 1, 2022. The credit card you registered will be charged at
that time for all items on which you are the winning bidder.
What type of payment
do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express
via the secure checkout page on the Greater Giving platform.
How do I get my
artwork?
Payment must be made directly through our secure checkout
page on the Greater Giving platform. You must pre-register your credit card to
start bidding. Your card will not be charged unless and until you are the
successful bidder on an item.

Participation
Agreement
By clicking to bid, you have agreed to the auction
procedures and have entered into a legally binding contract to purchase the
item if your bid is the winning bid. The highest bidder will be the successful
purchaser. OMA is not liable for any occurrence resulting from the use of
auctioned items or services. All sales are final. Refunds or exchanges are not
allowed.
Every effort has been made to describe all auction items
accurately, but all items are sold “as is” and without warranty or
representation of any kind as to the correctness of the description,
authenticity, value, or fitness of items. Each artist has determined the value
and details of the artwork.
Sales Tax
Oceanside, CA city sales tax of 8.25% will apply to the full
purchase of all Art Auction items unless proof of non-taxable status can be
shown at the time of purchase. Sales tax may show up on your receipt as a
miscellaneous charge added to the price of your purchased artwork.
Payment &
Collection
Payment for all Art Auction items must be made in full no
later than August 1, 2022. Full payment must be made before any item is removed
from the museum premises.
All sales are final. Refunds or exchanges are not allowed.
